STEM For The Future was founded by high school student Sophia Davies, who saw a critical gap in STEM education and decided to close it herself.
What began as one student’s mission has grown into a movement across Canada. We’re not just teaching STEM—we’re actively reforming curriculum, advocating for policy change, and proving that youth-led initiatives can create lasting impact.
Our leadership team is 80% women, and our organization overall is 76% women, significantly exceeding sector averages for STEM and robotics programs. This reflects our intentional focus on inclusive leadership pipelines, mentorship, and community-centered program design
